The In-Person Skin Consultation is a 30-minute, $69 appointment at our Mascotte studio near Gladiolius Lane. It combines tactile assessment of skin texture with close inspection under a 10x magnifying lamp. Your esthetician identifies clogged pores, acne lesions, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, dehydration and enlarged pores to map visible concern zones.
This appointment is strictly assessment and planning: we document what we see, discuss your skin goals, and build the next steps. If you book or buy a product the day of the consult, you receive a $35 credit toward a facial or qualify for a $99 skincare product purchase offer.
How we examine your skin
Examination blends touch and magnification. Tactile assessment lets the esthetician feel skin texture and hydration, while the 10x lamp reveals clogged pores and surface irregularities not always visible to the naked eye. Observations are recorded by zone so recommendations match what actually exists on your face rather than assumptions.
Local climate and lifestyle shape what we look for. In humid subtropical conditions around Mascotte, dehydration and sun-related pigmentation patterns are common; commuting and outdoor family activities can influence sunscreen needs. These regional factors inform product recommendations and suggested sequencing of treatments.
Creating your personalized plan
From the assessment we provide a targeted facial treatment plan, a customized home-care regimen, and clear application guidance aligned with your stated goals. The plan includes priorities—what to treat first, what to avoid for now, and how often to return—so you and your esthetician share the same roadmap for improvement.
The consultation also helps decide the next service. If you want immediate progress, you can apply your $35 consultation credit toward a facial booked the same day. Otherwise we outline product choices and timing so follow-up treatments and at-home care fit busy schedules, including evening or weekend appointments for commuters and families.
