How the peel is applied
Non-buffered trichloroacetic acid at 10%–30% is used for medium to deeper resurfacing on both face and body. In a single session we may apply one to five layers; the precise number depends on the selected concentration and your skin’s tolerance, which we evaluate before treatment to balance effect and recovery.
Applications are scheduled every two to seven weeks based on skin sensitivity and peel strength. Visible peeling commonly begins three to fourteen days after treatment; the pattern and duration of flaking vary with depth and individual healing, so we discuss realistic timelines and recovery expectations during consultation.
Pre-peel and post-care routine
All clients require preparatory care: a pre-peel kit is required for two to four weeks and is sold separately. The kit primes the skin and helps reduce risks; we provide detailed instructions and verify readiness because proper preparation influences how safely we can layer the peel and the expected recovery window.
Post-treatment products are also required and are tailored to support barrier repair and manage peeling; we’ll review those at booking. Given Mascotte’s strong sun exposure and humid summers, strict sun protection during recovery is essential to help the treated skin heal more predictably and reduce pigment changes.
Treatment areas and pricing
We treat the face and a range of body sites including arms, hands, legs, thighs, back, abdomen, feet and underarms. Medium-to-deep exfoliation is adjusted for each area’s skin thickness and concern; during consultation we assess target zones and recommend concentration and layering to balance benefit with downtime.
Pricing starts at $115 and varies by peel concentration, the number of layers applied, and the body part treated. Sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes so we can evaluate your skin, perform the peel, and review aftercare; final cost and schedule are confirmed at your consultation.
