Treatment sequence and techniques
This facial is built as a staged protocol for oily, congested skin with non-inflamed breakouts. The session includes cleansing, a fruit enzyme peel, ozone steam, medium extractions, high frequency, a purifying ampoule and a detox mask, followed by a warm towel, serum, light massage, moisturizer and SPF. Each step prepares the skin for the next to reduce surface oil and congestion.
Practically, the enzyme peel loosens surface debris and softens sebum, ozone steam helps open pores for safer extractions, and medium extractions remove comedonal buildup. High frequency is used after extractions to help calm the area and support a hygienic environment, while the ampoule and detox mask focus on oil regulation and drawing out impurities.
Who benefits and suitability
This protocol is targeted for Grade I–II acne: oily, congested skin with non-inflamed whiteheads and blackheads. It is not intended for actively inflamed or cystic lesions; clients with those concerns are evaluated for the acne facial Grades III–IV calming corrective protocol instead. The esthetician assesses skin readiness before proceeding with extractions.
Local conditions matter: Mascotte’s humid subtropical climate and commuter lifestyle can increase oil production and pore congestion, so this treatment is appropriate when breakouts are non-inflamed. Expect medium extractions to temporarily redden treated areas; the session length and focused steps are designed to balance effectiveness with client comfort during the 90-minute appointment.
Aftercare and realistic expectations
After the facial, skin is often visibly cleaner and less congested, and pores may appear more refined. Temporary redness or mild sensitivity after extractions is normal and usually subsides within hours to a day. The treatment includes SPF application to protect freshly treated skin; avoiding heavy makeup immediately afterward helps reduce irritation.
Because the area’s weather can encourage oil rebound, consistent home care and sun protection help prolong results. The esthetician will outline gentle cleansing, when to resume active topical ingredients, and product recommendations tailored to oily, congested skin so clients can maintain balance between visits.
